Petrit Abazi is Director of the Northern Centre for Contemporary (NCCA) in Garramilla/Darwin, Australia, on the lands of the Larrakia people. Born in Kosovo, he has a BA in Art History from the University of Trento, Italy and an MA in Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne (Naarm). He has 20 years of experience working on over 60 exhibitions on Australian, First Nations and international art and material culture for arts organisations in Australia and Europe. Petrit has written over 200 texts on art in over 60 publications in English and Italian.
